Dear CCF Friends,
Meet Noelle, Gavin and Nolan, three CCF Heart Kids with heartwarming stories to share. Noelle loves playing doctor with her Mickey and Minnie dolls, Gavin gets more excited over sushi than ice cream, and Nolan is the Pittsburgh Steelers' youngest fan.
Behind their bright smiles and magnetic personalities, they are battling a devastating heart disease — cardiomyopathy.
Noelle, Gavin and Nolan represent the more than 30,000 children in the U.S. fighting cardiomyopathy. Noelle spent the first 30 days of her life in the hospital, Gavin can no longer play the sports he loves with his friends, and Nolan is waiting for a new heart even before his first birthday. Other kids with cardiomyopathy have similar stories to tell.
For 11 years, the Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation (CCF) has focused on increasing research, education, awareness and advocacy. Join us in our search for new treatments and a better quality of life for children with this chronic and potentially life-threatening heart disease.
Please give to our 2013 Holiday Appeal so dynamic kids like Noelle, Gavin and Nolan have a fighting chance. Together, we can help the kids diagnosed today and those diagnosed tomorrow.
Wishing you and your family the joys and blessings of the season,
