Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation

The Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation (CCF) is committed to advancing knowledge and stimulating innovative and collaborative research on pediatric cardiomyopathy. CCF sponsors think tank sessions, scientific workshops and medical symposiums pertaining to the pathophysiology, epidemiology, evaluation and treatment of pediatric cardiomyopathy. The purpose of such meetings is to present scientific and clinical research updates and to facilitate increased collaboration and data sharing. In a research environment where scientific information is often viewed as proprietary, these meetings are important for encouraging exchange of information and ideas, identifying research priorities, and planning a course of action.

CCF has been involved in the following meetings, which have focused specifically on pediatric cardiomyopathy and heart failure:

CCF will continue to distribute materials at relevant U.S. and international medical meetings and to present findings from CCF funded studies at national conferences such as the American Heart Association Scientific Session, American College of Cardiology Scientific Session and the American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference.
