TENDING TO A CHILD IN THE HOSPITAL

At some point, your child may be hospitalized, either for a scheduled procedure (catherization, implantable pacemaker/defibrillator, surgery) or for emergency care due to congestive heart failure. During this time, it is natural for any parent to be worried or anxious. It may also be one of the most traumatic events your child will face. Understanding what to expect and making the right preparations may help reduce some of that stress.
