RAISING AWARENESS of
PEDIATRIC HEART DISEASE

February is NATIONAL HEART MONTH and you can help shine a light on pediatric cardiomyopathy. Heart disease doesn’t only affect adults; it impacts children also. To educate others in your community, join Team CCF in these fun awareness activities.

Wear Red

Get in the spirit and encourage your friends and family to wear red on National Wear Red Day, which will be celebrated on February 3 this year. Order CCF red merchandise or simply grab a red scarf or hat to honor all children living with heart disease. Tag us with your photos @CCFHeartKids.

Share the Facts

National Heart Month is about bringing attention to heart disease and educating others about pediatric cardiomyopathy. View our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages for weekly facts to share. Download CCF's Fast Facts or Ten Facts to share. Remember to tag us @CCFHeartKids.

Bake for a Cure

It's the perfect time to bake your favorite red treats and help raise awareness and funds for pediatric cardiomyopathy research. To start planning, visit CCF's Bake for a Cure page, and order a free fundraising kit with balloons, stickers, bags, and handouts.

Educate the Community

Share information about pediatric cardiomyopathy with your community by speaking to schools, scouting organizations, clubs (women's league, alumni, sports), or community groups (Lions or Kiwanis Clubs). Review CCF's presentation guidelines for ideas.
