The CCF scavenger hunt highlights the importance of emergency preparedness and early defibrillation in an adverse cardiac event. Quick action and knowing the location of the nearest AED is key to survival when seconds count.

CCF continues to work in partnership with Congressman Frank Pallone on the Cardiomyopathy Health Education, Awareness, Risk Assessment and Training in the Schools (HEARTS) Act (H.R. 4015), legislation to increase awareness of pediatric cardiomyopathy and the risk of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) among parents, schools and health professionals. CCF encourages you to reach out to your members of congress to ask them to co-sponsor this life-saving initiative.
